No Diwali Bash at Mannat – Here’s When Bollywood Stars Are Hosting Their Festivities

No Diwali Bash at Mannat get to know with khelofun

The festival of lights has come, but it also brings surprising news about Shah Rukh Khan’s fans this year. The King of Bollywood has made a decision not to attend his annual Diwali celebration at Mannat which is famous.

His manager Pooja Dadlani confirmed that there would not be a grand party at the iconic Mumbai residence this year.

The End of an Era at Mannat

Mannat was the top spot for Bollywood’s most extravagant Diwali celebrations for several years. He and his wife Gauri would make their house a beautiful place and invite the most important people from the film industry.

The bash in 2018 will always be remembered as legendary when stars like Katrina Kaif, Shilpa Shetty, Ananya Pandey, and Ranbir Kapoor attended the party all dressed up for the festive season.

Tradition started to change when the pandemic struck. Besides, construction work at Mannat affected the decision to stop celebrating during the year. However, the superstar has been going to other parties around the city, he still prefers having his own personal festivities to be private.

Stars Who Are Stepping Up to Host

While Mannat remains quiet this Diwali, other celebrities are making sure the celebrations continue across Mumbai. Here’s who’s throwing the biggest bashes this season:

  • Manish Malhotra already hosted one of the most talked-about parties on October 22, 2024, with attendees including Alia Bhatt, Rekha, Janhvi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan
  • Ramesh Taurani threw his annual producer party, where Shah Rukh Khan was spotted making a rare appearance
  • Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla welcomed stars like Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor to their designer bash
  • Ekta Kapoor organized a television industry celebration featuring Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, and other TV personalities

Khelofun and the Changing Party Scene

The changing of the guard in the entertainment industry is similar to that of the platforms, like Khelofun, that constantly adjust to the user preferences.

Simply put, everything is in continuous reinvention to find proper place and stay relevant, including the Bollywood stars who are changing their partying styles.

Upcoming Celebrations to Watch

The Diwali party calendar is still open. A few big celebrations will take place in the next few days. Among the stars who are ready to throw their own parties are Kriti Sanon and Dia Mirza. These parties are sure to attract the best talents in the entertainment world.

Other upcoming hosts include:

  • Anand Pandit is organizing a grand celebration for industry veterans and newcomers alike
  • Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are planning their couple’s Diwali bash
  • Nikkhil Advani will welcome filmmakers and actors to his directorial gathering

The New Normal for Celebrity Celebrations

The mega-party celebrations at Mannat have come to an end, and that is a clear indication of the new kind of Bollywood party culture. Instead of a huge celebration, stars now have casual parties or are going to several smaller events. Initially, this trend came up with the pandemic situation and seems to be with us for a longer time.

Shah Rukh Khan’s decision has not been interpreted as a total withdrawal from the festivities. He has been seen going to different parties around the city but just prefers not to throw one himself. The actor was recently seen at Ramesh Taurani’s party with a killer look in a black shirt and his classic heated look.

Others in showbiz are also being like this in their social life. Ayushmann Khurrana and his partner, Tahira Kashyap, have just the same plan of skipping their regular Diwali festival hosting. This all points to a more exclusive celebration lifestyle trend among the superstars.

The festival lights up the whole entertainment world, though in different ways and places than before. The fans may regret the end of the legendary Mannat parties but at the same time, they can still enjoy the spottings of their favorite stars at various other celebrations during this time in Mumbai.
